Guitar Maker Series
Interested in making your own guitar...yes, a real, fully playable, electric guitar???
I'm in the works with John at Gateway College's FabLab to set up a guitar maker series of workshops this Fall. If you're interested, please fill out the questionnaire below for John.
This would be an investment in both time & finances, but it could be an amazing project with great memories being made.
This could easily be a parent/child project. It could easily be 3 or 4 weeks worth of sessions; cutting out, sanding, assembly, more sanding, layering on finishes... likely more sanding, adding in electronic components & working to get things, such as your pickups, just right. There could be some homework, such as sanding. 😉
We would love to know who would seriously consider this project, as well as give you time to budget for it. We're looking at early Fall dates.
