10/19 Sub needed
I really hate to do this, but Nate's been sick with a cold/fever since Sunday. He's starting to do a little better, but he's had immune system issues in the past so we feel keeping him home this week is best.
I will have class materials ready tomorrow morning for whoever can sub so it shouldn't be too hard for whoever steps in. Just let me know so I can coordinate getting them to you. Here are the classes I'm teaching:
2nd hour- sign language (K-2). The kids are super sweet. 8 girls/3 boys. I will put together a packet of sign language flashcards so you don't have to know sign language to teach. If you do know sign language, we've been singing different songs: Jesus loves me, Jesus loves the little children and If you're happy and you know it. We've been working on the alphabet and counting 1-20. I like to play different signing songs from YouTube as well so if you have a laptop or tablet you can use, I can give you the channels I like to use.
3rd hour- Fun with Finance (2-5). We were going to talk about shopping on a budget and I have an activity for this. I can send some games I use in this course as well.
4th hour- Small Business (Middle/High School). Most of this class is spent with the kids working on their business plan project. I will have some marketing materials so you can talk about how small businesses can market their products for a few minutes and then I'll have the assignment list for them to work on. It's a super fun class as they get really enthusiastic about their business ideas.
