Joy's Classes
Hello!
If you're in one of my classes today, I'm just posting here for all 3 cause it's been a crazy week.
Sign Language- We're going to be watching some sign language videos and learning signs/songs. There's nothing the students need to bring. It's just going to be a fun/laid back class where we'll learn the alphabet and a few signs/songs by practicing with each other!
Fun w/ Finance- We will be talking about work, money and God's viewpoint towards both. The students will need a pen or pencil (something to write with) but that's all for this class. We won't start the binders until the 3rd class. We will be reading a story, learning about money, and we have a fun skit planned to help us learn the parable of the talents.
Small Business- We will be talking about starting a business, creating a business plan, and different business industries. Students will be put in groups where they'll work the whole semester to create a business on paper with a business plan. We will be doing this in sections and I will guide them as they go (so don't stress out!). Students will need a folder or binder to store paperwork, a notebook or notebook paper for taking notes both during the class part and during the group work part, and a pen/pencil.
