Exploring Brunch and Lunch Week #4

Today we made English Muffins from scratch. The class enjoyed them with peanut butter, jam or honey.


PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR KIDDOS TO STOP BY THE KITCHEN WHEN LEAVING ENRICHMENT FOR THE DAY TO PICK UP THEIR FOOD SAMPLES TO TAKE HOME. AGAIN TODAY I HAD ABOUT 6 WHO LEFT WITHOUT THEIR ENGLISH MUFFINS


Today we found that a temperature of 300* was better than 375*. All griddles/electric skillets cook a little different so don’t be afraid to adjust the temperature.

Thank you for letting me know that she leaves after second hour. I hope that you took some of the English muffins before you left the kitchen yesterday. I’ll try my best to have hers ready at the end of class.
