Walkie Talkies Info- PLEASE READ

After last week, it was made known that a couple other locations needed walkies so there will also be one for room 127, mom's room, and 2 extras.

A few notes from questions from last week:

  1. Walkies should be on channel 15. The top right nob will turn the walkie on (you'll hear it say it's on). The middle nob will turn the channel (you'll hear what channel it's on when you turn it on.). They should all be on channel 15 to start, but just in case...

  2. Please keep the walkie on at all times

  3. To talk, the black button on the left - push that and you can talk. Release that to listen for a response.

  4. The ear pieces- they hook onto the right side of the walkie. What looks like a button is a cover and pulls off to plug it in. You don't have to wear them unless it makes you feel cool. BUT you must have it on you (a pocket) or near the walkie if the walkie is for a room and on a table. If there's an emergency (medical or safety), I will instruct you to put on your earpieces if needed. This is so that (1) we don't scare the kiddos and (2) only people who need to hear the details do.

  5. Flashlight- the walkies do have a flashlight on the top that can be operated by the orange buttons. It's not a great flashlight, but someone asked me what it was for cause it was on.

  6. If you're needing to communicate with someone, please feel free to utilize these- that's what they're there for. If it's going to be a conversation, let the person know to go to a different channel.

If you're not sure how to use them, feel free to ask myself or the front desk for a tutorial.
