Any Interest in the Kenosha Kingfish reading program?
Hi Friends! I was recently contacted by the Kenosha Kingfish to see if we wanted to participate in their reading program again. So I'm hoping to see who's interested.
* It's a little cumbersome because it's set up as if we're a traditional school classroom that sees each other all the time. They welcome our homeschool group & willingly make some accommodations for us, but it can become tricky turning in order forms all together & handing out prizes when it comes time.
How I'm expecting it to work again for RAHS this year:
- All kids from Kindergarten to Senior can participate. Parents set reasonable reading goals for their kids, even if it's reading to your child.
- You keep track of your own child(ren)'s progress.
- Prizes will be given to me for our group in the Spring. In the past they have consisted of Kingfish temporary tattoos, free kid's games during the baseball game, a free scoop of custard at Culver's, & 2 free tickets per child to a specific Kingfish baseball game for us to attend together.
- There will be a date that our group has to turn in all ticket orders together, both free tickets earned & any additional tickets ordered at a discount.
- I like to set the tickets up to be picked up at will call for easy distribution. However, I'll pick up the other prizes when they're ready & will have a couple RAHS activities where you can pick them up.
Anyone interested in participating this year???

Thank you Rebecca. Im sure this takes some time and effort and I really appreciate you putting this all together again this year.
