Tell me your favorite local farm to enjoy fall harvest
Good morning! This will be my FIRST autumn here in Wisconsin, one of my goals is to ensure my family experiences and learns about local farm harvests. Please share farms you think are MUST SEE (extra points for no or low admission fees and less tourist stop and more local focus).
We are heading off to check out Meyer Family Farms Vegetable Stand today (hope this is fun and educational!).
Next I want to see Apple Holler (weekdays only, going tomorrow)
and Swan's Pumpkin Farm.
I made bingo cards for our trip - I got 30 for free in the generator, if you want to play with your kiddos, I can PM the PDF to anyone. Or there is an online play option!
I have been doing a little research into Wisconsin farming.
I think these WI facts are awesome:
Cranberries are grown in 20 counties.
Cherry orchards produce 59% of the nation’s supply.
WI accounts for 12.6% of the corn silage nationwide.
WI is third in the nation in potato production.
WI growers sell more than 700,300 Christmas trees annually.

THANK YOU! God Bless.

Thank you both for responding!
Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm in Kenosha is on the way to Meyer Family Farm - maybe we can see both today!
The fall leaves are my next adventure! And YES - Holy Hill tower is my #1 location I don't want to miss this fall! Thanks for the tips for Hawthorne Hollow and Lapham Peak in Kettle Moraine State Forest and Seven bridges. True fall leaves sights will be new for us too!!!
