I love seeing all the sign ups for our returning annual Fall Festival! ๐๐๐๐ค Keep it up!
I wanted to take a moment to answer a few questions that were asked of me today. ๐ค
We plan to be outdoors. Dress accordingly. Restrooms will be available inside but our party will be outside.
There will be a bonfire. ๐ฅ (Please supervise your kiddos while near the fireplace area!)
We are asking members to bring Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows for a S'mores bar (feel free to be creative!).
You can offer to bring a snack to share. (In the past, we've seen anything from popcorn to seasonal breads, chips and cookies. )
We will also provide hot water for hot cocoa and cidar packs. Folks can offer to bring a box of these packs. Please do bring the premeasured packets, not canisters.
What can I expect if I offer to bring a game/activity?
Please plan to staff your activity if needed. If you bring something that takes care of itself (yard Jenga, cornhole, etc.), no need to stay beside that. If you provide a craft or activity that requires supervision/maintenance, please plan to monitor that and/or ask a friend to help you.
Costumes: costumes are totally acceptable. Nothing scary, please! We have had a contest in the past. It's not required. There will be a sign up for those kids who wish to participate, then voting slips for the kids to cast a vote for their favorite costume. A small prize will be given to the winners.
Categories are: PreK-3rd, 4th-6th, 7th-9th, and 10th-12th.
Last, this is a family party. Please know where your children are at all times. We will all be in the area of the southwest end of the church grounds. Bathroom entries will be marked. Small children should be accompanied inside.
