FabLab Open Lab

Has your child(ren) participated in one of our FabLab sessions & they're itching to do more??? While we have more sessions in the works, you are welcome to stop in during open lab times. Check their calendar frequently, as they're often posted somewhat last minute. Gateway is a community college, therefore, as a community member who has taken a session or two to start learning the machines in the FabLab, you are welcome to work on your own projects when the lab is available. How cool is that?!

3 Things to note:

- This is NOT a time of teaching, but the instructor(s) there will help as they're able. You could be the only ones there & get a lot of help or be among a handful of people sharing their attention.

- Open lab is a time to bring your own ideas to create, so bring your own materials needed. There's a bit of wiggle room your first time 3D printing. They do have some pla filament on hand, but if you're going to print several things, it's best that you bring your own filament or contribute to what's there.

- There are nominal fees to using the machines. I've included the rates below.

* The instructors are great & willing to work with you. If you're not sure of something, please stop in & talk to them. This is a great resource for us!

Here's the ongoing calendar!

New Open Lab Sessions have been posted for this week!!! Check the calendar often. Adam is usually the host for open labs. He's a great resource for help & he's willing to do so as he's available.
