Free online Homeschool Convention- Homeschooling the Heart October 20-24
I've participated in several of these over the years and have always been encouraged and blessed. My very first one was probably the most important and I did it when I was new to homeschooling. It helped me shape my ideas about what homeschooling was, what it wasn't and empowered me to make good choices for my kids based on prayer, research and not what someone else was doing.
The topical discussions are given by notable speakers you would encounter in other homeschool conventions and are well done. The live stream for that day day is free. However, I always found it useful to pay the small fee so I could go back and access what I'd missed in previous days. There is a small window when you first register to get a lifetime access for $24. The offer is limited time and the price does go up after like 10 minutes. I have never been sorry for getting the extended access as it wasn't possible for me to watch all the sessions uninterrupted during the day. They DO NOT sell your e-mail info or spam you! :) Also, the $24 does get you access to e-books that are absolutely worth that. The gospel of John study being one of them. Anyway, no pressure from me, but I was nervous about it when I tried it my first time and it was totally worth it. I was actually surprised that the price hasn't increased in 7 years.
