December 3-5: ProKids Science Magic – grades 4-5
Students will be engaged and entertained during this stimulating presentation filled with science, music, math and magic! This unique, hands-on program covers grades 4-5 core science standards and reinforces important character traits like respect, honest and responsibility. In-person reservations due November 14
December 9-11: BubbleMania! – grades 2-3
Students and adults alike will be entranced by this educational program that fuses jaw-dropping bubble science with eye-popping art! Topics are related to the physical science laws of the natural world and students will begin to understand the effects of atmospheric conditions, such as evaporation, air convection, gravity and humidity. January 13-24: Florentine Opera: Cinderella – grades K-2
Share the experience of attending an opera with your students! This version of Cinderella includes music from Viardot, Massenet and Rossini. The music is performed in the original French and Italian, tied together with dialogue in English. In-person reservations due December 16
January 27-30: Smarty in Space – grades 1-2
Your class will have fun during this program without realizing they are learning about our solar system, outer space and the mechanics of the universe. Patterns of movement beyond our own planet Earth including rotation around the sun will be observed, described and predicted. In-person reservations due January 9
February 3-5: Adventure STEM Lab – grade 6
Join us for this unforgettable STEM adventure! Students will discover and explore the power of everyday forces, the mysteries of matter and chemical reactions with a variety of hands-on experiments. Don't miss out on this adventure, exploring real-world science! In-person reservations due January 16
February 10-12: Tornado Ready – grade 3
Join Chief Meteorologist Drew Burgoyne, CBS-58, in this fun, interactive, educational science program. Students will see and experience everyday – and severe – weather phenomenon while learning about the importance of making smart choices and being prepared. In-person reservations due January 23
February 18-20: Math & Music Fusion – grade 5
Your class will get a backstage pass to the musical side of math in this upbeat, hands-on program focused on empowering young minds through musical math education. This program fosters a deeper understanding of math concepts, including fractions and patterns, behind rhythm, pitch and scales! In-person reservations due January 31
February 24-27: Fun-tastic Physics: Energy, Magnets & Motion – grades 2-3
Students will come to understand that science is a process of investigation while practicing the scientific method and improving problem-solving skills. Using fun experiments in physics, students and teachers will laugh as they learn as we discover density, air pressure, kinetic and potential energy! In-person reservations due February 6
