3D Printed co2 Cars
🏁Let the Races Begin!🏁
Our 3D Printed co2 Car Workshop is Next Week!!!
Kids will work with started designs on Tinkercad to design their own co2 powered car. 3D printing will take hours, so we'll come back on day 2 for assembly & racing!!!
Think Pinewood Derby, but the 2022 version! The cars will have an eyelet attached to the front & back to run fishing line through. That helps the car stay on course. Then they'll insert a co2 cartridge in the back to propel the car for racing. Small prizes for things like design & speed will be awarded. 😉
• 2 DAY WORKSHOP!!!
Nov. 29th 12pm to 3pm
Design & Start Printers
Dec. 2nd 8am to 12pm
Assembly & Race!
• Gateway College's iMet Campus - FabLab
2320 Renaissance Blvd. Sturtevant, WI
(Behind the movie theater on hwy 20)
• $18
• Ideal for ages 12+, but we're a little flexible. All students will want to be able to stay on task & work responsibly with & around the machines. Parents, you are welcome to sit in or drop off if they're ready to work independently. There is ample space to work separately on site too.
• Your child(ren) should come having at least logged on to Tinkercad.com & gone through the tutorial. It's FREE! Spending a little time familiarizing themselves with the slicing software will help them have a successful print and a car that can race.
• They will also want a thumb drive.
Register each child separately below. The workshops tend to fall off the website the day of, so please don't wait until the last minute.

Hey! I'm here at the lab. John says they can either refund you OR you could join via Zoom if the kids still want to make cars & might be well by Friday morning.
