Friends, our workshops build off of each other. If your child might enjoy and thrive in this environment, please consider coming to this workshop. It will be hard for someone who's not worked with the machines and software to jump in on some of the projects we hope to get to. NC3 Certification is not the most fun, but it is foundational knowledge on the hardware and software, & it can be something to add to their transcript.
As always, the FabLab team roll out the biggest welcome mat to our kids, but this is an environment where they are expected to be able to stay on task, follow direction, & work responsibly with and around the machines. Parents are encouraged to stay if your child is new or might need some support.
