Out to Silver Lake Kenosha this Afternoon!
Today should be a beautifully warm afternoon. The girls and I are planning to head out to Silver Lake sometime after noon. I'm shooting to get there by 1:30ish (but I've talked my spouse into playing hooky this afternoon so more like 2:30? ) We will probably set up on the far right side near the trees on the beach. Come hang out with us, the water is typically really warm!!
If you've never been, silver has a really large sandy beach area and a very large area to wade out into. The water is warmer at this lake than any I've ever been in in Wisconsin. (But I'm a newbie so that's not saying much!)
There are bathrooms and changing rooms.

It's after labor day, so I don't think that they will be charging entry fees per their website.
