Soccer anyone?
I know not many of you live up my way (MKE) but I found that Cudahy Park District has a Fall Soccer 6-8th grd program for just $20 (free to Cudahy residents). Wednesdays Sept 11 - October 23 3:45p-5:30p. They still have lots of spots open (likely due to it being too close to end of the school day for transportation for kids outside of the Middle School). But I thought I would share as it's not too far and super great price. It is soccer training camp style vs competitive games (No Saturday games! like so many programs we looked into). There is also a 2nd -5th grd options on Mondays but that one is $45, still a great price compared to soo many we have looked into.
We have a pair of size 13 soccer cleats (adidas black with turquoise laces) and 2 pair of small/youth shin guards (one with ankle guard strap one that just slides into sock) to give away and are looking for a size 5.5 / 6 cleats and shin guards.
Cudahy is also looking for more coaches for Soccer and Football camps, they have funds for paid positions and are open to High School students for some of the positions, if you know anyone who may be interested or knows others who might.
