Cinderella Ballet 2024

Dear Friends,

I am happily organizing group field trips to the Milwaukee Ballet. The Spring ballet for 2024 is Cinderella! Please read to the end for all of the details if your family is interested in joining us.

Friday, April 5th

Doors open at 10:30am, with performance starting at 11am

Marcus Performing Arts Center

929 N. Water St. Milwaukee, WI 53202

Adult Ticket - $16.35 (includes tax)

Youth Ticket - $11.08 (includes tax)

Payment is due to me no later than Monday, September 11th. I have to turn around and pay the ballet later that week.

* PayPal (F&F Please) to RebeccaHardin4@gmail.com.

* Cash or Check is also acceptable, preferably in person because we've had issues with our mail recently & want to leave no room for missing money.

Please comment on THIS POST how many adult and youth tickets you would like. If we know each other outside of RAHS, I treasure your friendship, but then you probably know that my organizational skills need 1 place to look for everyone's communication.

All ages require a ticket.

The intended age for this student matinee is around 5 and above. I am not putting age limits on our group, but please understand that we are sitting through a wonderful live performance & leaving the auditorium may result in not being able to reenter until intermission or the end of the performance.

Please give yourself time and plan for parking.

I will give you proof of tickets closer to the event. Have that ready to show ushers if they ask.

Commenting HERE saves your tickets in order received. Once payment is made, sales are final. IF something changes for your family, you are able to sell or gift your tickets to someone else, but please communicate that with me. I currently have 100 tickets reserved for both groups my family is a part of. If there is more demand than tickets, I will reach out to the ballet & will communicate accordingly. IF there are any remaining tickets, I will release them back to the ballet at my time of payment.

Full transparency: Because the ballet sets things up as if we're a traditional school class, they only require a down payment the week of Sep. 11th & remaining balance later. I simply don't have the capacity to follow up with everyone for 2 payments, especially if someone were to change their mind or didn't follow through. However, if someone would truly love to go & needs a little wiggle room with timing, please talk with me.

Looking forward to enjoying special moments such as these with you this year!

Sincerely,

Rebecca Hardin

Friends, a series of factors in our home have played into the decision for Leah & I not to attend the ballet today. I'm truly sad to miss it with all of you, but needed to let it go. Deb Laverty has graciously agreed to be the point person, but I believe everyone has all they need to arrive, prove that you have seats, know where our group seats are, & to enjoy the performance.

* Should there be a similar situation as there was with Nutcracker (monitor equipment blocking our view), please just work with the ushers. They were lovely last time & didn't mind us moving to different seats. I've already talked with the box office & though they have no hand in this area of the production, they believe we shouldn't run into the same problem again.

Have a wonderful time!!!
