Racine Zoo - Big Cats
Wednesday 6-29. 1pm at the Lynx exhibit in between the lions and the tiger. @Heather Zahurance and I have started incorporating the zoo into our homeschool. We've been picking an animal each week to learn facts on and it's been a lot of fun so we'd like to invite anyone else who wants to come. This week we're doing the big cats- lions, tigers, and the lynx. They have an animal chat scheduled for 1:30pm so we're going to be going over animal facts at 1pm so the kiddos have time to come up with questions to ask the zoo staff.
Our plans are to get to the zoo around noon so we have time for ADHD distractions and then we usually play at the park and eat afterwards. I'm thinking of bringing cut up hot dogs and calling it lion and tiger food (they can dip it in ketchup blood if they want...) LOL- we have boys so if that's not appropriate for girls... I don't know... You're free to come and join us if you want. If you want to participate in the lion food just comment on here so I can bring enough!
