On August 13 and 14 Bay Beach is open from 10-8 and it is approximately 2 hours 15 minutes from Racine.

Since it is unlikely that we will all arrive at the same time and park next to each other I am going to suggest that we create a text group to enable us to join up as we arrive at Bay Beach. I am willing to create this group if you will make sure that I have your cell number. The kiddos always seem to have more fun when they can ride with their friends and it may also be helpful to those who have kiddos with a wider age range.

If your family has not been to Bay Beach I encourage you to visit their website and take a look at the fun they offer at a more than reasonable price. No admission cost, no parking fees just buy your tickets (25 cents each) and ride. Individual rides will take between 1 and 6 tickets.  This year they have added a new inclusive playground that’s free. There is also a cafeteria with very reasonable prices, no lunch to pack if you don’t want to.

Since Green Bay is a 2-2 1/2 hour drive if your family wanted to do an hour overnight there’s plenty in the area for a second day of fun.
