🏁🚘🚙 Let the races begin! Our kids have a cool opportunity to 3D print co2 cars & race them. There are already started designs to modify or the ability to design your own car within the parameters to race successfully. Please note that this is an intermediate 3D printing workshop.

We've done a couple beginner's 3D printing sessions in the last year, but I know some of you would be brand new or still new to it. That's why the lead instructor, John, is offering to go through the basics of Tinkercad via Zoom (pajamas acceptable) at 8am on Thursday November 3rd. The following day is our lightsaber workshop! The goal is that students come with some familiarity to Tinkercad and therefore will have more time creating & more success printing.

Who: 4th grade to high school

What: Design & 3D print cars. This will be a 2 day event! Printing takes hours. We'll come back on day 2 to finalize our cars and race them. Depending on participation, we hope to have a couple categories so that our youngest & oldest racers will have their own competitions. There will be awards to be won! 🏆

Design Day will be Tuesday, Nov. 29th from 12pm to 3pm.

* I'd like to poll everyone seriously interested in coming to the race day either as a participant or as a spectator. Would Friday Dec. 2nd or Saturday Dec. 3rd be better? Saturdays could allow for more dads to attend, but Saturdays also get full.
