**Hawthorn Hallow Field Trip**

October 18th 10a.m.-12p.m. or
1-3p.m. ARRIVE 15 minutes before your fieldtrip. Each fieldtrip is appropriately 2 hours in length.
This program focuses on the different ways plants grow through life stages and survive to produce new offspring. Students will make discoveries on seed dispersal strategies and the concept that fruit is a seed container. We will classify seeds collected from a forest and prairie. Native American traditions and celebrations of the fall season will be revisited while walking a real Indian trail and making a traditional folklore toy to bring home. All students get hands-on learning experience making cider using a traditional apple press.
COST: $6 for students, preschoolers and adults NO CHARGE
