What are things you do during the holiday season or just regular life with your kids to serve others? I have a 5, 3, and 1 year old for age range, but willing to hear options for when they are older too.

We have purchased Christmas items for families in need (we have a local organization where I live that connects families for this purpose). We have done something similar to the Samaritan's purse shoebox through our church. Not holiday related: We shovel snow for our elderly neighbors and my parents. My kids rake the neighbors' leaves. We have given our neighbors small gift baskets for Thanksgiving or cookies with Bible verses for Valentine's Day. We often help others in our neighborhood with various yard work.
