Hi Friends! We have not forgotten about the FabLab. The main instructor, John, has been super busy with their regular classes & traveling for the college. Fitting us in has been a challenge. However, I am encouraged by so many moms contacting me to ask when the next event is. I like knowing there's continued interest, making it worth my time & effort to keep bugging John. 😉

Here's what's up next.

• NC3 Laser Certification

(You might remember the laser keychains we made a few month back.)

• FREE

• May 3rd

• 11am-3pm

• Middle & High School ages

* There is some flexibility in age, as long as they can handle the environment well. That goes for anyone.

• There's 12 spots & I'm offering them to my RAHS friends 1st. Please respond with your child's full name & an email they use/will have access to to register them with NC3. Please do not wait to sign up because I am offering these things to you first & then in a couple days I'm going to start offering them to other homeschooling friends who've expressed interest to me.

• They will go through an online book together (might challenge some people's attention span & by "some people", I mean people like me)

They'll go through the hands on processes together.

Then they'll take the certification test. It's open book.

Why be NC3 Certified? It might look good on a high school transcript. It does help give you access to the FabLab. If you know how to use the machines, it is open to you as a community member.
