I'm sure many of you heard of the tornado that swept through Illinois and Indiana last week. If you haven't, there was an EF3 tornado that went through parts of Kankakee county Illinois, hitting the town of Aroma Park the hardest. Many homes and businesses were completely flattened. Having grown up in Kankakee, it has been hard hearing about the devastation left behind. Those who weren't in the path of the tornado still suffered incredible damage due to the size of the hail. I am thankful that my family and friends who live in the area are all safe. I'm asking for additional prayers for the community and families impacted, as well as the safety of all of those who have come to the aid of the community. The current weather is making clean up incredibly difficult as they are now dealing with heavy winds, more thunderstorms, and heavy rain.
