Girls Volleyball Team - Middle school
There is a fantastic opportunity for Girls Volleyball this coming fall (end of summer). Union Grove Baptist Church is starting a homeschool team. They have room for only TWO more middle school girls.
This team's objective is promoting growth in the girls' relationship with Christ while also learning the game of volleyball and having fun. They plan to have balance in the schedule - 2 days per week of practice, maybe a third day as games start - never Wednesdays. The season will start in August with practices, continue in September with games and end around mid-October. This Middle School team should have about 10-12 games for their season.
Steve and Lori Pittsenbarger are the coaches (previous RAHS members). They would like to hold a few open gyms this summer - but are hoping to have the team finalized by the end of June. The cost - $125 plus a personalized uniform (around $90). These are the highest they expect the fees to be, they may end up a bit lower.
