General Announcements/News

Everyone should have received their invoices now. Please look in your email! A couple things to note and to clarify:

1. I will be at the Monday night meeting and can take payments then too.

2. After the meeting on Monday, membership fees will be $30 instead of $20.

3. If you are Homeschooling (or exploring homeschooling) someone under 6 who doesn't qualify for the PI 1206- that's totally ok. You're still welcome to join our group. We welcome parents of toddlers and pre-schoolers in our group as that's the perfect age to get familiar with the different things you can do when homeschooling. If your child is Kindergarten age and you enroll them in a full kindergarten program (public or private), then you would no longer qualify as homeschooling.

4. If you have graduated your last kid thru homeschooling highschool and you still want to participate with our group- your invoice should be $7. We appreciate having experts to help us along our journey. If your invoice says $20, please let me know. Don't be mad- I can't keep track of how many kids everyone has 😂.

5. Memberships MUST be paid before you can register for enrichment classes. I will be out at appointments a lot this coming week so I might not be able to respond during the day. I will give Laura a list of paid memberships each night. Your membership MUST be paid the day prior to when you want to register for classes. Please see below for daily deadlines.

6. If you are on the Enrichment Committee- You must pay your membership dues by Monday night 8/21 (end of meeting time- 9pm) in order to register you kids for enrichment classes on Tuesday. I will give Laura the list of paid memberships Monday night and that's what she'll be going by.

7. If you are a Teacher- You must pay your membership dues by Tuesday 8/22 8pm in order to register your kids for enrichment classes on Wednesday. I will give Laura the list of paid memberships Tuesday night and that's what she'll be going by.

8. Everyone Else- You must pay your membership dues by Wednesday 8/23 8pm in order to register your kids for enrichment classes on Thursday. I will give Laura the list of paid memberships Wednesday night and that's what she'll be going by.

9. What if I register but haven't paid my membership dues?- If you register before paying, then your kids will be placed on the waiting list until I confirm payment with the enrichment comittee. Any students signing up for classes that have paid their membership fees will get the slot ahead.

10. Can I remain on the website without being a paid member? No, this is one of the benefits of being a member. If you are choosing to not be a member or to not homeschool, your access to the website will be discontinued on 9/1/23.

11. What if I'm homeschooling but I'm having financial difficulties right now? We totally understand financial hardships and most of us have been there. We don't want anyone to simply not join our group because of this. Please reach out to me privately and we can reach a solution!
