Bylaw Amendment Proposal - Respond by 11/16 with input prior to 11/17 vote.
Members of the Board, in order to better serve RAHS, have seen a need to propose two new amendments to our bylaws. The changes are additions to the current bylaws and not alterations. They address two different but related issues, and will appear in two different sections of the bylaws.
During the November quarterly Board meeting, the Board will take member feedback, offered prior to our meeting, into consideration. We must have a unanimous vote to pass these changes.
You, as a member, have the opportunity now to review the changes proposed below, and provide feedback before the vote. Please consider taking a moment to refresh your knowledge of the current bylaws. The proposed additions are as follows:
Article 5: Grievance Procedures (Adding section 5)
Section 5. If either husband or wife has been removed for cause from their position of leadership on the Board in accordance with Article 7, Section 6, neither may be reinstated in a position of leadership on the Board or on any Committee. The Board will maintain records to ensure adherence to this policy.

Article 12: Books and Records (Adding section 2)
Section 2. The Board maintains control of RAHS communications online via the website or any other platform operated by RAHS and reserves the right to deny or delete posts not viewed as being in the best interest of RAHS or its membership.
