Last nights meeting!
Kudos to Jennifer Janes for last night's discussion! I was surprised but glad to hear such a deep topic talked about at our meeting. It takes a lot of courage to do what you did Jen, and I have a deep appreciation for you! This is not the first time God has used our meetings to bring up deep hurt or frustrations in my heart. When God called me to HS I didn't feel equipped, what so ever. Words can't express how much I appreciate the leadership and members for being their authentic self. It makes me feel comforted to know I have support not only with schooling but with the"Home" part as well.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
I have finished one of the books already and started on the 2nd! Some excellent insights that will help us heal, grow and become our best selves. I hope I remember to ask the questions in “What’s the point? by Shelby Abbott” of Liam when he comes of age to be thinking about serious relationships.
