Teach your kid to read in 100 lessons.
I really want to stick with this book but it's hard to get the kids to pay attention (6yr and 4yrs).
I'm also switch between a phonics curriculum and Teach your Monster to read (tablet game).
Was it hard in the beginning for anyone else? Or should I look at something different.

I agree with Jennifer. They really need to be ready (showing interest and some ability). Some of mine caught on faster than others; it really is a very individual skill. If you believe they're ready, then maybe switching up. We had success with the "Code" books. Get Ready for the Code, Get Set...those. Hang in there, momma. 🤗
