Sew Grateful!
Thankful for having the opportunity to learn to sew through Enrichment!! My best friends daughter is Irish through her Grandma, and I am Scottish through mine, and now an Irish McCarthy via my hubby. We have made a tradition of giving here a tartan skirt each year for her birthday or Christmas as a nod to my girlfriends mom. This year I found this super cute set with the purse, as a bonus it’s a tartan that is pretty close to my family’s. Cora has a”looks like me” doll she keeps close. Because of my Enrichment class I was able to dive in and make this matching kilt skirt for her doll to make this the best Christmas gift yet. I had enough fabric left from the skirt to make a matching bag, a mini version of the one we made in class. To top it off I ”wrapped“ the gift in a bag I made like the one from class. You ladies rock!!!!!!!
