Upcoming meeting (5/16)and booksale (5/23)
Our next meeting will be at Grace church on May 16th from 6:30-9p, we will meet in the normal side room (I think the room number is B72-75). At this meeting we will be voting in our in-coming board members. I'm working on a topic for that night and will post specific meeting info soon. That night the church will be hosting a school who is doing their spring concert in the sanctuary. The parking lot will likely be full and the church a bustling busy space - but it'll be nice and quiet in our side room that we use. Just don't be alarmed as you pull in the parking lot.
Because of the school concert we will hold our book sale on the following Monday, May 23rd from 7-9pm, outdoors if the weather allows, or inside in the commons if the weather is questionable. Again, specific book sale information will be posted soon. I just wanted to give you all a heads up for the book sale date.
I love it every time I hear that the church is open to the community in this way. I believe every time a kid enters they remember that positive moment and might come back feeling a little more like they belong. Praying for those families!

P.S. I was shopping at Wayne's Daughters and one of the daughters asked me about homeschooling! I also love it when we can be available to encourage the community to be empowered to make a schooling shift!
