Just some clarity:
Hello my friends! I apologize I have been slightly absent as of late. This month has been a doozy that started with Mathias choking and 911 being called (he is fine), to in laws being in town, a family wedding, and now all the 4-H items for Fair. I appreciate the grace that has been extended!
I just wanted to clarify some items after questions I have received.
The invoice that was sent on June 1st was for MEMBERSHIP for the upcoming year (July 1, 26 - July 31, 27). Every year members pay a membership fee that helps RAHS run annually. This goes towards all the things we do as a 501c3- all of our bills, Social events, parties, monthly meetings, etc. Once paid you have all the benefits of being a member: eligibility to vote and hold office, participate in member only activities and parties, access to the forum, and participation in Enrichment if you would like.
Enrichment class sign ups happen in August. You cannot participate in Enrichment if you are not a member, if you have not paid the membership invoice. If you do not pay the membership invoice by Aug 1st you will lose access to the forum and will not know when Enrichment sign-ups are, what classes will be offered, etc. Enrichment has its own separate invoice that is catered to your class choices. This will include Registration for Enrichment (which goes towards things such as cleaning supplies, first aid kit, a portion of insurance, etc.), and your chosen classes. Class fees are the cost to participate in the class, so this amount varies for each, but teachers use the fees to prepare and purchase items for the class. Gym class fees go towards a portion of the insurance as well as gym equipment.
I hope this helps you to understand exactly what the invoices are for in case you were unsure of why you received an invoice. Please be mindful that if you wish to participate in Enrichment at any point- Fall or Spring, you must be a member of RAHS.
