Dear RAHS Families,

I hope this message finds you well! We have an exciting update to share regarding RAHS membership. As discussed at our September member meeting, the idea of allowing virtual school families to join RAHS was discussed and supported by many of our membership. Following that discussion, the Board voted unanimously in October to extend membership to families choosing to use virtual schooling.

In November, we met again to review and suggest the necessary changes to our bylaws to reflect this decision. After careful consideration, the proposed amendments were approved unanimously, officially updating our bylaws to include virtual school families as eligible members.

Effective immediately, RAHS is pleased to welcome virtual school families to our community. We want to emphasize that this change does not alter our Statement of Faith, and it is in keeping with our Statement of Purpose to support and strengthen our homeschool community. This decision allows us to serve more families and expand our reach in supporting diverse homeschooling experiences.

We would like to take a moment to sincerely thank the members who have been involved in this process—from those who participated in the September meeting to those who provided valuable input and insight along the way. Your dedication and thoughtful contributions have made this important step forward possible.

We are excited about the future of RAHS and look forward to serving the expanded membership with the same heart and commitment to supporting homeschooling families. If you know of a family who is virtual schooling and is seeking community, please extend an invitation for them to join RAHS. We would love to welcome them!
