From the Desk of your President
Who am I kidding, Even I don't want to read long winded e-mails these days- even if they are funny! Let me cut to the chase. In a few weeks we have our Fall Fun Fest planned and I'm super excited, but we really need help on the Social Committee. Deb Laverty is an amazing asset to our community and I don't want her to burn out! (Or cook bacon anymore during first hour Enrichment when I can smell but can't tase!!) - but I digress
Bottom line? 1) Please prayerfully consider joining the Social Committee- you aren't obligated to serve or plan every event, but many hands make light the work- and it literally is a wonderful way to meet new people if you are new
2) Please respond if you are able to - Set-up, Tear Down or take a 30 minute slot running an activity for the Fall fest. We could always use a hand or two serving the simple supper as well.
3) Be prayerfully considering joining the Board next year. We are having a Board Meeting in November in place of the monthly member meeting so we can show you how fun it is, how diligent we are, and how you too can serve this community without breaking a sweat! (Seriously, it's going to be a fun night!) We are in immediate need of a President Elect.
Finally, Ask not what your RAHS can do for you, ask what you can do for your RAHS! (Me humming patriotic music in the background as I snort-laugh)
The Board appreciates you all! And we are thanking God for all of our families, new and old!

Liam and I can commit to being early for set up and tear down. It’s on the calendar in bold, hi-lighted with all else erased for that day!! LOL
I can also take a turn or 2 at a station of any kind.
